LISD educators will all return for the 2025-2026 School Year tomorrow, and new LISD educators had the privilege of learning ALICE (Alert-Lockdown-Inform-Counter-Evacuate) Training today from our local Police Department. We thank our Police for teaching this proactive program, which taught us "what not to do" and then "empowered us to take an active role" in active shooter and other critical incidents. They also taught educators how and when to use the emergency phones installed in every LISD classroom. We extend a huge thank you to our Police for your time and energy in making LISD educators the best!
