MLK Study

We were out of school for Martin Luther King day, but our librarians across the district studied, read about, played games and taught the significance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr all week. He was a leader who fought for equality, justice, and civil rights through peaceful protest. His words and actions helped change laws and inspire millions to stand up against racism and unfair treatment. Dr. King taught us that courage, kindness, and nonviolence can create powerful change, and his legacy continues to remind us to work toward a more fair and united world. We thank our librarians for adding MLK Day to your programming that just might turn a kid on to a good book!
