LISD Celebrates National Dog Day

LISD has a great reason to celebrate National Dog Day today! We have three tested and certified therapy dogs in the district. These dogs will brighten your day if you are down and give emotional support while working hard to complete assignments. These dogs are all pretty docile but stand up to the challenge when needed to help a student or teacher out! At ABC Arry helps students cope with a hard day. Our young students love reading to her and caring for her. At LHS Zippo and Louie are often the manakins for the Veterinary Science students and are so patient to let kids work them over. Dogs make life better, and we are glad they are here in LISD! Thank you, Zippo, Louie, and Arry, for keeping us mentally fit! You're in the right place!
