Meet the new South Elementary Assistant Principal.......................

Our own Christi Peck has been named the new Assistant Principal at South. She grew up in Levelland and moved back to Levelland in 2010. Christi graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, and she quickly realized that her heart was in education. She returned to Texas Tech University to complete her Masters in Education with a focus on literacy. Christi has worked for Levelland ISD for the past twelve years. She taught 1st and 3rd grades at South Elementary and has been the district RLA Instructional Coordinator for the past four years. Mrs. Peck says, “I am incredibly honored and excited to work with teachers and students in a new role. South Elementary has always held a special place in my heart and returning to the campus feels like coming home. I look forward to collaborating with South staff to inspire every student to reach their full potential and foster a lifelong love for learning." Outside of her professional life, Christi is married to Matt and they have two children. Her son Grayson is a graduate of Levelland High School and currently works with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office. Grayson is married to Taylor, who teaches first grade at LABC. Grayson and Taylor are the proud parents to Emery Faye. Christi's daughter Delaney, also a graduate of Levelland High School is a hair stylist and nail technician. Congratulations Mrs. Peck!
