Meet our the Special Education Director......

Meet the new Special Education Director.....................

Lacey Doster has been with Levelland ISD for two years and is often seen chipping in on campuses when they need a helping hand. She will be starting her 27th year in education this fall, and she has always been in Special Education. She was a special education teacher for nine years, teaching life skills, inclusion, content mastery, and resource. She has also been a diagnostician for 17 years.

Mrs. Doster is originally from the Houston area and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Her husband is the Head Rodeo Coach at South Plains College, and has been since 2010. They have one daughter.

Lacey says, "With this new position I would love to see special education become more inclusive within Levelland ISD. I am a big supporter of Unified Athletics and would love to see the program grow to include electives, such as culinary opportunities." Mrs. Doster, we are excited to see how you bring excellence to our Levelland ISD Special Education program!
