Maintenance Workers Appreciation Day!

LISD celebrates our Maintenance and Grounds employees for National Maintenance Workers Day! On the surface, our maintenance workers and groundkeepers may seem like a behind-the-scenes kind of business. In reality, these people are essential to the functioning of all our LISD campuses. Adam Oliva has made many good changes to make this department a better workplace. When you see our people, you will see them smiling and friendly and notice they are willing to help in any way! We take this opportunity to thank our dedicated LISD employees who keep our schools, classes, libraries, gymnasiums, and offices open and warm (or cool). We love how our campuses look more kept and beautiful inside and out! We thank our plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, carpenters, custodians, roofers, and groundskeepers. If you see one today, give them a fistbump for a job well done!
